As a member of the Transformation Directorate, the Trustwide Scheduling Officer will support the operational management and configuration of the Trustwide Scheduling system and apply the Trustwide Scheduling policies and procedures implemented across the Trust.  The postholder will:

  • Undertake the activities needed for the generation of the annual Department of Education and Training timetable; 
  • Provide a high quality proactive Scheduling and reactive Booking service to all service users including clinical directorate staff, faculty and students; 
  • Engage in the documentation of evolving clinical pathways and their constraints and transfer into the scheduling system, ensuring consistent provision of appropriate space for all clinical activity taking place within the Trust estate.

The post holder will be expected to work flexibly in accordance with the requirements of this post and over time will become a subject matter expert in scheduling, activity planning and timetable development.

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
