The post holder will lead and develop the information management and analysis function with in the directorate that supports decision-making within the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust, providing performance information for Clinical Services, the Executive team and the Trust Board.
To lead and develop the information analytical function and support the strategic development of information in order to maximise the benefits to the organisation, of timely, accurate and meaningful information.
The post holder will be expected to lead, influence, and negotiate to drive forward the development of business intelligence processes, functions, tools, lead, train and assist the wider informatics team to develop technical solutions for reporting requirements, including automation of reports and processes, and the use of data visualization tools such as Power BI, or similar tools.
As a member of the Transformation Directorate and operating across all functional teams making up the directorate, including Information and Communications Technology (“ICT”), Informatics, Estates & Facilities (“E&F”) as well as Information Governance & Security, the Business Intelligence (BI) and Systems Lead will be responsible for managing Systems and BI Reporting functions in the Trust covering both our clinical and education activities.
The individual will also be responsible for the overall management of various systems such as
- EPR System(s) e.g. Carenotes,
- Education System(s) e.g. SITS,
- and other IM&T associated systems.
