We are seeking a full time clinical administrator to join our Children, Young Adults and Families Directorate. Reporting to a Lead Administrator, Clinical Administrators provide administrative support to the clinical teams in Directorate. This includes scheduling patient appointments, drafting letters, phone calls to patients and other professionals, collecting information from patients and the use of our Carenotes system to ensure accurate records are kept.
The post holder will need to be organised and able to manage competing demands. They will be able to remain calm in difficult situations and confident speaking to patients and families, that may be distressed, politely and appropriately. They should be flexible and willing to work across a range of teams and support their colleagues during peak periods as directed by the Lead Administrators and the Administration Manager.

The postholder will have regular contact with vulnerable people and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
